The Audi Q5 is a compact luxury sport utility vehicle that has the seating capacity to accommodate up to five passengers. The current generation Audi Q5 offers two different engines, a 3.0 liter turbocharged TDI model and a 2.0 liter turbocharged FSI model. Both the engines have a sole transmission, the 7-speed S tronic transmission.
Power
The Audi Q5 diesel engine can produce power up to 236 hp, while the FSI engine can deliver up to 208 hp of power. Though the model is redesigned for 2009, it does not have a fresh look and it looks almost similar to the Audi Q7 model. The key features in the Q5 model include good fuel economy, various engine options, spacious interior, long wheel base, capacious trunk and available Quattro all wheel drive system.
Features
The mileage rates of the Audi Q5 diesel model are comparatively high, when compared with the FSI version. The advanced Audi drive select system equipped in the luxury SUV helps the driver to shift the suspension and steering response by using a single button. Three different modes are offered- Auto, Comfort and Dynamic. As the model is offered in both the Audi Q5 diesel and petrol options, customers are more likely to buy diesel version as the fuel economy rates are high and the cost of maintenance is low.
